Brain-Computer Interfaces

Currently, I am particularly interested by conducting works on Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI) based on Electroencephalogram signals. Through studying the humain brain activity based on EEG, it is possible to classify mental tasks and to convert it into comands for a use as a control mean to interact with a computer or any other electronic device (e.g: driving a wheel-chair). However, EEG signals are exposed to several noise sources and can be extremely contaminated (e.g muscular mouvements, electrical perturbations ...). Generaly, this perturbations make difficulties when analysing and interpreting the EEG signals.

I am working on developing filtering and classificaton algorithms which allow conserving the brain signal features for a better use of brain- computer interfaces by general public.
